Hi photographers and engine lovers,
On June 14th and 15th, 2014, took place the 60th edition of the Motocross des Marches, regrouping the Swiss Motocross Championship and the Friboug Championship in Broc, Switzerland.
It was the 60th edition of the Motocross des Marches and pilots MX2 categories Inter Inter MXOpen, national categories, Yamaha cup, Juniors and Mini 85 started the race on the track to win valuable points for the rest of the championship.

The Genevois Julien Bill (former world champion in MX3 category) won the 60th edition of the Motocross des Marches in its category (Open Inter), in front of nearly 4,000 people. Alain Schafer and Gregory Wicht, from Fribourg county, finished a little further in the ranking (4th and 8th). Congratulations to all participants of this 60th edition of the Motocross des Marches.
The circuit has been specially built on the slopes of the Dent de Broc mountain.

It was a great opportunity for me to practice a little more sport photography. Action photography at a sport event like the Swiss Motocross Championship in Broc, can be very artistic and creative, and can allow you to experiment several different techniques.
Lots of noise and gas exhausts, but an opportunity to take another type of shots.

Using my two Canon cameras: Canon EOS 400D and Canon EOS 7D, alternating lenses: Canon EF 18-55mm, Canon 70-200 F4, Sigma 10-20 and my Sigma 50-500mm telephoto.
I did not use flash this time, although I would have loved to, in order to not risk to blind contestant who does not expect it … Another time perhaps …
