Yummy Photography

Hi!

I know that some of you like food and photography, and maybe, food photography!
I’m not into it yet, but I gave a try.
I found and kept these two tutorials to help you to do great pictures! (and great meals if you are also a talented cook ;) )
No need to reinvent the wheel, so I search and select the tutorials or advices that I find the more interesting and well explained.

The first one will help you more on the image composition and technic.
The second one has the benefit to show you how to set and organise your space.

My test was done with my Canon EOS 7D and a Canon 50mm F1.8, a Canon 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 and a Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 wide-angle. Some bacon, sausages, eggs and cheddar were sacrified for the good of this tutorial (experience) :)
First I had one light (an incredible 10 bucks Ikea lamp…), then I have added an extra one (still Ikea I think).
I have imported the photos in Adobe Lightroom for some colors enhancement and, on some pictures, create the blurry black corner (called Vignetting).
I will prepare some tutorials about photo editing softwares.

I had prepared a nice text about the depth of field, but I wasn’t able to illustrate it properly with the photos below.
Anyway, I will add it to a coming post! :)

Note: Don’t do this when you are too hungry ^^…

Here are the videos!

Enjoy!
